A Woman’s Way

Initially, I wrote A Woman’s Way for myself; a self prescription of sorts, to help heal my soul and refocus my mind.  However, the beauty of this self journey has been, that quite unexpectedly, my musings have blossomed into a manual that I feel will benefit all women, regardless of their circumstances or situations.

As women, I believe that we need to take ourselves a little less seriously and revisit our younger selves and honour the spirit and youthfulness that we once relished. Whilst time has blessed us with storylines upon our faces and syphoned our energy stores, we are blessed with wisdom and intuition.

At the beginning of this writing journey, I set out to answer three simple, yet in depth, questions.

Who am I?

why am I?

Where am I going?

I believe that deep down we know who we are and why we are here but perhaps it’s the where am I going that remains somewhat blurry. Through writing A Woman’s Way, I feel closer to answering my own three questions. Through the exploration of my childhood and the values instilled in me, I now have a deeper understanding of who I am and what I stand for.

By turning up the volume of my spark dial, I am now more in tune with what brings me joy and keeps me focused. Regardless of the labels I wear, consciously or subconsciously, I feel better equipped now to face my world and contribute in positive and meaningful ways.

My hope for you is simple: that you devise, drive and delight in your own brilliance. We are unique souls; our DNA and fingerprints attest to that.

We were born to stand out, as well as to coexist on this planet. As women, we share the same air and experience the same time. However, the world we share relies on our differences and craves our varying perspectives. This is essential for our survival and for the cycle of evolution to continue.
